Double taster

I have a couple of drinks to add to the blog this evening.
Both of them are from Dogfish Head www.dogfish.com

The first one is the Midas Touch Ancient Ale
This was a nice Ale. Nothing special. You could definitely taste the Honey and Grapes which gave it a very sweet taste, the saffron however was not that noticeable.
Its available all year round from the brewery and is based on an ancient recipe. A little too sweet for my liking.

ABV 9.0%
look: 4.5  Lovely golden colouring. Nice head with some lacing
Aroma: 3.5 Slight hoppy aroma full of honey sweetness
Taste: 3.5 I couldn't drink more than a couple I one sitting
Body: 4 Thin and mildly carbonated,

Dave star rating of 3.5

The next Beer from DogFish Head was the Indian Brown Ale.
Its another year round ale from the brewery and do you know what its very very nice. I really did like this beer. It was so easy to drink.
